Dr. Sripad Dhawlikar is admired throughout the medical field thanks to over 28 years of experience in the Orthopedic industry, including vast experience in Spinal and Scoliosis Surgery, Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, Pain Management and Pediatric Orthopedics.
Following his enrollment at the Medical School at Gandhi Medical College in India, Dr. Dhawlikar completed both his Internship and Residency at the State University of New York-Buffalo. He went to the Hospital for Special Surgery at Cornell University, where he finished his Fellowship. In addition, Dr. Dhawlikar obtained Board Certification by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery during his education.
Currently, Dr. Dhawlikar works with Ocean Orthopedic Associates, who are leaders in the healthcare industry thanks to their devotion to their clients. The practice prides itself on offering quality healthcare using the latest medical technology and places the client experience at the heart of all their services.
Contributing to his outstanding career, Dr. Dhawlikar is a highly regarded member of many professional organizations including; Toms River, Brick, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Community Medical Center, Raritan Bay Medical Center, the North American Spine Society, Ocean Medical Center, the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Medical Association. Dr. Dhawlikar is also a member of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, where he has fundraised and served on the Board of Trustees.
As well as being recognized by Continental Who’s Who, Dr. Dhawlikar has received several other outstanding awards including a nomination of ‘Top Surgeon’ from Money Magazine, which he holds in particularly high esteem.
A married father of two, Dr. Dhawlikar enjoys spending his time outside of work with his family, reading and traveling. He also likes to run marathons.
Dr. Dhawlikar has dedicated this recognition to Dr. Ohneba Boachie and Dr. Robert Gillepsie, as well as to the memory of Dr. Leon Root. He also dedicates his achievements to his wife Sunita, thanking her for all her support and love.
